Level: 26_Tram
Runaway Train

Objective #1: Reactivate the autopilot system to stop the tram

You find even more reasons to hate Ryo on this level. Your objective is to get to the control cabin on the tram. The tram has four "cars" with two levels. You start out on the lower level of car 1. You want to get to the upper level of car 4. The tram is laid out like this:

car 1 (start) - stairwell - car 2 - hallway - car 3 - stairwell - car 4 - control cabin.

Keep going to the front of the train. Go up either stairwell. In the front of the upper level of car 4, there is a lift that takes you down into the control cabin. There the level ends (see the screenshot below).

That's really all there is to this level. A couple of interesting points:
  • One of the troops on this level gives up an MCA armor power-up when he dies instead of the on-foot one.
  • The soldier on the lower level of car 4 has an ultra restore.
  • This level is time-limited. If you take to long, you'll hear an alarm. Shortly after that, you die. Unfortunately, you don't get to see the tram blow up, you just die. Oddly enough, the civilians or soldiers in the car with you don't die.
  • If you lose your sense of direction, look out a window to tell if you are heading to the front or the back of the tram.
  • Most of the enemies are placed right behind doors in this level (and shoot you behind the back at point-blank range) which is why it gets an average rating instead of easy.
