Level: 06_Entrance
Approach

Objective #1: Cripple Fallen defenses
Objective #2: Gain access to Avernus


It's you and your squad mates against Fallen MCAs and tanks in a valley. You know the drill. Follow the valley and blow up the enemy. Along the way you will pick up a spider and a bullgut (the bullgut is by far my favorite weapon in Shogo and, perhaps in any first-person shooter ever). Save those for the next level.

At the other side of the valley is a tunnel. Run through it and kill the MCA waiting for you on the other side. Then turn around and blast the one sneaking up behind you through the tunnel.

Ahead of you is the wall defending Avernus with several Fallen MCAs on the ground and on the wall. Your squad mates will likely be killed here, but that's not a big deal since they can't follow you to the next level anyway. Your best bet is to take the sniper rifle you just picked up and pick off all the MCAs from a safe distance. Aim for the head to get critical hits.

Once all the MCAs have been cleared out, jump up on the wall and take all the goodies. To get up there, walk up the slope on the right side of the wall and double-jump up where it connects to the mountain. After that's all cleared off, walk through the gate to get to the next level.

OK, these first few levels haven't been very challenging. That's all about to change . . .
